Beabout Team: Carol, Ronald and Richard

Ron and Carol Beabout have lived in several countries and states during the past 30 years. They thought they were prepared for anything until their eldest son came home from his freshman year in college and enlisted in the Marines. Three weeks later Geoff left for boot camp. This left Ron, Carol and their younger son, Richard, scrambling to learn about the Corps. The MarineParents website has been their haven and resource.

All three are looking forward to participating in the Jerabek Challenge. While Carol & Ron will walk the 2 mile (at least they will try!), Richard, who runs cross country, will run the 4 mile. All three are proud to be helping with the Care Package Project - and they will be learning more about them, since Geoff deploys soon.
